Mr Andrew 'Andy' Johnson
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Andy Johnson is a distinguished mining professional with over 50 years of experience in coal mining, both underground and opencast, across the United Kingdom, South Africa, Mozambique, Angola, and Bangladesh. He has held senior roles as Operational Manager, Technical and Project Manager, and Consultant, providing strategic guidance, operational review, and mentorship to emerging and junior mining companies. With extensive knowledge of geology, coal processing, and legal mining regulations, Mr Johnson continues to drive operational efficiency, sustainable growth, and industry development across international jurisdictions.
Mr. Peter Temane
Chairperson
Mr Peter Temane is a distinguished leader in South Africa’s mining sector, with decades of influence in industry transformation, policy, and growth. He co-founded the first Black-owned diamond company and the first 100% Black-owned contract mining company before the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), and has since served in Senior Leadership roles across the mining industry. Mr Temane is currently the Deputy Chairperson of the Minerals and Petroleum Board and Chairperson of the Mining Sustainability and Employment Committee of the Board. He also serves as Chairperson of the South African Mining Development Association (SAMDA) and continues to drive sustainable development and employment across industries.

Mr Mpho Mahapa is a distinguished Project Director with over 30 years of expertise in water, sewer, and construction management. He has successfully led multi-million-rand infrastructure projects across Southern Africa, including bulk water supply, sewer upgrades, and integrated municipal networks. A registered Professional Engineering Technologist, Mr Mahapa combines technical excellence with leadership, fostering collaboration between government, consultants, and communities to deliver sustainable infrastructure, develop emerging contractors, and strengthen local economies.
Ms. Kgomotso Sethogoa
Engineering Technologist
Ms Kgomotso Sethogoa is an Engineering Technologist specialising in municipal infrastructure, roads, and stormwater management. She contributed to key projects including the Amalia Township Phase 2 municipal services, A re Yeng Line 2C traffic signal upgrades, and the Modimolle-Mookgophong Roads and Stormwater Masterplan. With expertise in site supervision, project documentation, quality control, and cross-functional collaboration, she ensures projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and sustainably while fostering innovation and community impact.
